Tatham Fells Parish Walk 2010
Three Dales

Spring Bank Holiday Saturday, 29th May 2010

Hindburndale, Roeburndale and Littledale

Short: One Dale - 5.1 miles / 750' climb

Medium: Two Dales - 12.8 miles / 2000' climb

Long: Three Dales - 18.2 miles / 3000' climb

For many years, an annual walk has been arranged to raise funds for the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tatham Fells. A different route is planned each time.

In 2010, after weeks of drought, on the day of the walk it rained all day! Around two dozen brave walkers set off on the various options, and unsuprprisingly a few decided to take advantage of the escape route offered at several points along the way by the much appreciated back-up vehicles.
